The semifinal results are in and both were photo finishes:
- Semifinal #1: "How Deep is Your Love" is just so. damn. smooth. Barry sure could write and produce - and he was just hitting his stride. The melody is so good, the third verse doesn't even need lyrics.
- Semifinal #2: It's difficult for me to pick against Stevie, but that groove for "Best of My Love" is just too much. Or should I say grooves? Did radio DJ's talk over the intro to "Best of My Love"? For shame.
