So much good stuff from 1982! And a ClickChart™ to boot!
ReplyDeleteTwo tracks from the Fast Times At Ridgemont High soundtrack and Steve Miller!
And look at Melissa Manchester, hanging on for nearly half a year!
SPOILER ALERT: Missy stuck around for the following week, October 30th, dropping down to number 49 officially making it a 26 week, full half year run but was gone by the next week, November 7th. Over on the Hot 100, the single was two weeks behind its entrance on the AC chart and enjoyed its 25th and final week on November 7, 1982 at number 98. The 25 week run on the Hot 100, including 15 weeks in the Top 40 and 5 weeks in the Top 10, earning "You Should Hear How She Talks About You" 1185.64 points and earning the 27th spot in the Chartmasters 1982 Year End Rock 100.
