The semifinal results are in:

• Semifinal #1: If I had done the seeding, these two would have probably ended up in the final round instead of the semis.  George Michael has a much better voice than El DeBarge, but "Who's Holding Donna Now" has the better production.  It's a photo finish, but the iconic saxophone solo puts Wham! in the finals.
• Semifinal #2: Soft rock ballad > power ballad.  All day, every day.
