These are my personal top albums released in 1977. To be honest, my music at the time came from music on the radio so I wasn't buying albums in 1977. The following criteria was used on a sliding scale I'm not sure even I understand:
  • How often I enjoyed the album at the time of release
  • How often I've enjoyed the album over the past 40 years
  • Overall quality of the album
The top 3 or 4 tracks for each album are solely my opinion and are presented in order of preference.
