Four of the seven albums have previously appeared on The CD Project blog:
George Benson - The George Benson Collection (1981)
Al Jarreau - Breakin' Away (1981)
Pat Metheny Group - Offramp (1982)
David Sanborn - As We Speak (1982)
I have the remainder of the albums on vinyl, so there's a chance they'll find their way to this blog eventually. In the meantime, check out Jean-Luc Ponty's great cover of the Stevie Wonder tune, As (with American Idol's Randy Jackson on bass).
*to be honest, the transition from weekly to biweekly was a mess. There was no chart published in the April 3 edition, but the April 10 chart suggests there was one. Based on the "Last Week" information on the April 10 chart, I reconstructed the April 3 chart the best I could. I couldn't determine which albums were at the 39, 43, and 45 spots, but George Benson definitely held the top spot that week.
